Day 365 / Friday December 31

The last day of 2010! I overslept, then didn’t really do much until Kim txted me saying she was at home.

Since I got to Kim’s, we’ve blown bubbles, watched a miniature pool fill up, watched Kick-Ass, and played a lot of Green Day Rockband.

We are going to try the 12 hour challenge once it hits midnight. We have 36 minutes to prepare ourselves. See you next year!

Day 364 / Thursday December 30

The year is almost over. Holy shit.

But lol hey say hello to my fluffless dog. Mum decided to give her a haircut while I was away.

I only woke up 3 hours ago, so I haven’t really done much this afternoon. Really wanted to go see TRON: Legacy today, but I think my sister wants to get dad a ticket for his birthday, which is on the 3rd, so I won’t be seeing it until after then. I’ll only have the 4th to see it before work :( :(

Day 363 / Wednesday December 29

Green Day cupcakes! Woke up at like 7.30. Then ended up going back to sleep until about 11. We had to wake Jax up so we could go shopping for icing, which we didn’t end up getting around to until 3.

Got back and iced cupcakes and the Red Velvet cake when Sarah arrived. We played the entire 21st Century Breakdown on Green Day Rock Band, which was awesome 8D then watched various Green Day related things until we decided to chill in Kim’s room when we were supposed to be putting up her enormous poster :/

Just chatted about New York and other things.

It made me sad, because I could actually go to New York, if I give up Soundwave travels and Andrew McMahon, but I really don’t think I can do that.

Day 362 / Tuesday December 28

Kim picked me up in the morning, then we went to go get Jax, dropped my slushy off at Kim’s house and went shopping for Green Day day supplies.
We spent a lot.

Today was more of a My Chemical Romance and movie watching day than Green Day day, because we were waiting for Sarah and Leah, but we watched Life on the Murder Scene which I’d never seen before and omg they are so adorable.

We made cupcakes and created new cocktails, then at 10pm we decided we’d finally make our booze cake. Red Velvet Southern Comfort cake. Mmm, so good. The buttermilk made it smell like foot though, so we were a little wary.

Stayed up till 3.30am watching How to Train Your Dragon, Treasure Planet and How I Met Your Mother :P

Day 361 / Monday December 27

Pretty much sums up my day.

Slept a lot. Also watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special. Matt Smith is so precious.

Day 360 / Sunday December 26

Boxing day! We’re on the home stretch now.

Went down to Australind for the day, to visit our really close family friends. Each boxing day, we alternate. So next year they’ll come visit us … though Grace and I might miss out if we’re in Europe :P

Another nice day. Very hot though. They don’t have air conditioning D:

But yeah they have four boys all under 12 years old, so it was very eventful.

Got back home and missed Smithmas by 15 minutes D:
